Brittany Gagné

Welcome! I'm glad you've found your way here. 
My approach as a therapist is warm and direct; I value contemplative questions, active practice, and new perspectives as much as I value humor. 

I also take an interest in how our bodies respond to stressful events in our lives. Ever notice sensations like tension, headaches, butterflies, or a knot in your stomach? It's like your body has its own language and is trying to join the conversation. At Mind Body Psych, we consider the whole of you: the experiences, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that make up the very complex and unique person you are. 

My graduate training took place at the University of Alberta. As a lifelong learner, I have pursued further specialized training in Compassion-Focused Therapy for pain management, self-criticism, and anxiety, and training in CBT for anxiety management. My practice is grounded in the understanding that our tricky brains and bodies create challenges for us at no fault of our own (truly, it's the human experience) and we can learn how to work with ourselves to live more harmoniously.

I have a deep appreciation for my clients because I know it isn't easy to schedule therapy and put in the work. I'm in your corner every step of the way to tackle specific challenges or explore what therapy can offer you. I offer free consultation calls, online booking, and direct billing.
